How do we do it?
We pair highly qualified, Certified Texas teachers with small groups of kids (no more than 10) to create a strong foundation for support and guidance to ensure that homeschool students will not only be able to perform on or above grade level but will have the tools and thinking skills to be able to succeed academically in the future.

Elective Classes at Weatherford Music Academy
Welcome to the ULTIMATE Homeschool electives program!
We are bringing 3 incredible teachers who will each be offering unique programs at our Academy.
The best part? Your kiddos will get to attend ALL of the classes when you participate!
Class 1: Art & Architecture
Class 2: Music & Theater
Class 3: Immersion Spanish!
Classes will happen in Units. For example, our Art teacher may do painting for a few weeks, then switch to Architecture class for a few weeks! As a result, kids get to experience even more subjects!
How Does the Electives Program Work?

Students Grades 3-8 are welcome!

Students receive 3, 45-minute classes per day

You may sign up for 1 or 2 semesters

Meet Our Team

Phoenix Rose
Director, Co-founder

Aledo Music Academy
Phoenix holds his degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, the world’s leading school for contemporary music. This, along with real-world performance and teaching experience set the foundation for the focus of the Weatherford Music Academy -- a focus on letting students focus on the music they love, and educating parents on all of the different avenues available for performance, education, growth that is relevant to the world today.

Debbie Copeland
Lead Teacher Grades 1-6
Ms. Debbie graduated from Texas Tech University in 1989 with a BS in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Bilingual Education/ESL. She has over 20 years experience teaching kids grades 1-12, including her recent position in WISD where she was awarded Teacher of the Year! Her experience includes working in public schools, private schools, as vice principal of a high school, and she has even homeschooled her own children for five years. In addition to her teaching credentials, Ms. Debbie is also pursuing her certification as a dyslexia therapist.

Danielle earned her Master's degree, completed her 5th year of teaching professionally, and completed her Principal’s certification all by the age of 25. In addition to this, she also helped found the Weatherford Music Academy, Parker County Scholars homeschool program, and Aledo Music Academy. She's been an educator for over 8 years and now helps manage the Academy's growth!
